About Angelle

Angelle Rothis


Angelle attended the University of Michigan's College of Literature, Science, and the Arts, where she earned her degree in three years, with a minor in economics. Upon graduating in August 1981, she immediately began law school at the Detroit College of Law. While attending law school, she was chosen to serve as a paid intern on Capitol Hill, Washington D.C.


Angelle practiced law in downtown Chicago as a plaintiff's personal injury litigator for ten years. In her second year of practice, she was awarded Most Trials In Cook County for Women Attorneys. Her practice included Cook County Circuit Court, Appellate Court, and the Federal Court.

She returned to Michigan in 1994. After working for several large personal injury law firms, Angelle began her own practice specializing in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation, and is based in Grosse Pointe. She practices across the greater Metropolitan Detroit area, and services clients as far as Ann Arbor, Lansing, and Northern Michigan

Angelle volunteers at the Grosse Pointe Public Schools


Angelle grew up in Grosse Pointe, Michigan.
Angelle is a mother to one son.


St. John Providence Health Systems. Angelle volunteers her time to the St. John Providence Health Systems Fund Development Committee. She concentrates on reaching out to the community to fund projects which maintain and improve the hospital.

The Grosse Pointe Foundation for Public Education. Angelle volunteers her time to the foundation's Corporate Sponsorship Committee which is part of the fundraising arm of the Grosse Pointe Public School System. It helps maintain the excellent opportunities provided to the children who attend the Grosse Pointe Public Schools.
