The Attorney
Angelle M. Rothis is an attorney licensed by the State Bar of Michigan and formerly Illinois State Bar Association with 37 years of experience handling personal injury cases including Chicago and Detroit. Angelle attended the University of Michigan where she graduated in three years. Two weeks later, she entered the formally known Detroit College of Law. After her first year, she was chosen to serve as a paid intern on Capitol Hill, Washington D.C.
Professional Background
For 9 years, Angelle practiced law as a plaintiff's personal injury litigator in Downtown Chicago. In just her second year as a litigator, she was awarded Most Trials in Cook County for Women Attorneys. Her practice included the Circuit Court of Cook County, the Illinois Appellate Court, and Federal Court.
In 1994, Angelle returned to Michigan where she continued personal injury litigation. After working for several large firms, she established a practice in Grosse Pointe that specializes in plaintiff’s personal injury litigation. Today, our firm proudly serves clients across Metropolitan Detroit throughout Michigan and the Upper Peninsula.
Personal Life
Angelle was born and raised in Grosse Pointe, Michigan. Apart from being a consummate lawyer representing clients in their personal injury cases, she is also a proud mother to her only son.
Former Community Involvement
Angelle volunteers her time contributing to the local community. These include committees which help fund projects to maintain and improve local organizations.
She’s also a member of the Grosse Pointe South Gridiron Club, a volunteer organization that fundraises, plans, budgets for the Grosse Pointe South High School football program.
Angelle was formerly the chair of the Grosse Pointe Foundation for Public Education’s Corporate Sponsorship Committee. This is the fundraising arm of the Grosse Pointe Public School System, which aims to maintain the excellent opportunities provided to the children who attend the public schools.
